A to Z challenge D is for ..

A to Z challenge D is for  Double nine patch. This block is one of the earliest forms of patchwork. It can be made into endless vaiations, because the 9 squares may also be made up of smaller pieces. This is the first one I made for my first little mini quilt.

    My mom uses this pattern the most, I think. I like the one with the different sizes.

      I think a lot of quilters use it because its simple but effective. Yes the split block is fun

    Some fabric is so beautiful! I just want to take all of these pieces and snuggle up under them. I love quilts!
