We were very very lucky in June to get our first grandson. Nathan Charles Cook was born on 8th June and what a joy he is. He is part of a very loving family and has two beautiful parents,
.Then just a week after this little darling was born we heard even more good news. Our daughter was also expecting a baby! What a surprise two grandchild in one year lol. I had not expected my daughter to have a family yet but we were delighted for her anyway.
Then this week we found out she is having a little girl and we are over the moon that we will have a grandson and a granddaughter. I really hope they grow up to be good friends as they are so close in age. I think its nice Nathan is older as he can look after her like a big cousin should lol.
So we are very grateful to our dear children for the gift of these precious little gifts

DeleteCongratulations! What lovely news. My kids have a cousin who is much younger - she's 20 months and they're 13, 10 and 8, but they are so close! She lives round the corner and they adore her, it's lovely to see.
