A wonderful first birthday

This weekend or should I say today marks a special event in our family. Our dear darling grandson Nathan turns one! It only seems a second ago when he made an early appearance at his own baby shower, when in fact it was a whole year. That year had a rough start  for him but recently he is blooming and growing up so fast.
So this weekend we had a special tea party for him and he was very much the centre of attention.
Both sets of Nan's and Granddads, mummy and daddy, uncles and aunts and friends had been busy behind the scenes to make the day go with a bang.
I on my side did his cake , 60 cookies , scones and a few bit of sewing such as bunting with his name.
My hubbie did all the yummy food and we pulled together to decorate.

The day went really well and even if I am exhausted I think we all did a fab job.

      Aww thanks Ellie it was a lot of work but i agree we all did a fab job! I think i need a tent like that lol
