Its a great zoo where the animals are well cared for and they really like to educate people about the animals in their care.
So My son Matthew , his wife Karen and Karen's parents and our grandson Nathan ,were all packed and ready. Sadly our daughter Natalie and her partner Ian and granddaughter Grace couldn't make it which was a shame.
I had to take my wee mobility scooter as I am not so mobility these days. I can tell you it came in handy as it is a fairly hilly place.
There is so much to see and do and lots of fun to be had by adults and children. We loved it so much we bought a year ticket so we want to try to go often over the year. We had so much fun and laughed so much as well. If you have a great zoo like Colchester then go along today and re live some fun times. Here is a few pictures of the day
