This week I have been busy with a huge amount of planning
for my daughters wedding in september. It made me think about my own wedding day, some 32 yrs ago. I met my huband through letters, as he was my penpal. We wrote for a year and met in December 1978 and married by July 79. We are still together and happy but I sometimes wish I was that young bride again !

Bless you...what a wonderful story! My hubby and I met through the phone (long story) in November of 2004, met in person for the first time in February of 2005, were engaged in March of 2005 and married one year later to the day! Some things are meant to be! ;)

Aw, how lovely! Such a great story of you being pen pals. My husband and I are the modern day version I guess, we met online exchanging emails before meeting up x
