Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to night school I go!

Tonight I'm really looking forward to going back to night school. Last year I thought it would be fun to learn more about cake design. So I signed up to take a level one course. It was bit of a shock as I could see I had much to learn. I was not sure i could as the design aspect really made me nervous. I soon settled in but that first cake ...... Um need I say more lol. At that point I really thought I'm never going to get this.

Then slowly as I practised and practised I got not so much better, but more confident and not scared of the products. Once people knew I made cakes I got asked more and more. I have had to start charging more as I was finding it was costing me more to make than I got back. At the end of level one I  was keen to take the level 2 but lost my car ride, as my daughter was off to University. Then my dear hubbie stepped in and offered to take me, wait while I did my class ( 3 hrs) then bring me home. I am very grateful as I would not have been able to do if he had not offered.
So tonight I will be starting again and I hope that I can share some of what I have picked up over the year and now year 2. If you would like to know about a particular area please say and I can cover it. So you have seen my first cake and now I am going to finish with some cakes I've made and up to date.
