Santa Maria go fork free review

Why not go all Mexican and celebrate Cinco de Maya by trying out some food ideas from Santa Maria and their Mexican cheats ! My first one to try is to be honest more one for my husband, He loves tomato juice so here is what he tried.

Bloody Mary and Chili shot

2 cups of tomato juice
1 tablespoon Santa Maria Hot Pepper Sauce
120ml tequila

Method

Mix all the ingredients and serve in shot glasses.
Santa Maria Hot pepper sauce is available in waitrose nationwide at £1.25

After drinking that tequila I thought we needed some food and these just sounded so right!

Try serving up tasty Mexican hot dogs or "Hotdogueros" originating from Sonora in North West Mexico, loaded up with crushed pinto beans, chopped onion, mustard, coriander, mayo, guacamole and topped with Santa Maria classic Mexican salsa or soured cream.
Pick you sausages carefully and serve in warm Santa maria soft plain tortillas- no forks needed!

And to go with that we made

Hot coleslaw

Most people prepare normal coleslaw, but you can certainly find more interesting and exciting things to add to your Cinco de Mayo coleslaw. Try adding grated ginger or apple and Santa maria Chipotle paste for a smoky spicy kick.

Santa Maria has lots of great products so go and have fun and bring a little bit of Mexico to your town! For more information please visit the Santa Maria web site
